Our fallen soldiers died to preserve America and the freedoms it was founded on. If those fallen soldiers stood before you and me today, would we be able to look them in the eye and be proud of what we have allowed America to become today? We are 39 Trillion dollars in debt. We have made people dependent on government programs that are killing our nation. We don’t demand justice from our lawmakers. The lawmakers of this country don’t listen to the people. And righteous men and women don’t run for office anymore. We are silently allowing robbers to take over our government and enslave us.
Is this what our soldiers died for? We have severely neglected our responsibility to our God, our nation, and our families.
Freedom isn’t free. The price is blood. It's the price our Savior Jesus Christ paid so that we might be made free from death and sin. It's the price that the fallen heroes of our country paid to preserve the freedoms of this land.
Is debt freedom, no, yet we do not demand that our government balance the budget. Instead we ask them to shoulder responsibilities that belong to individuals, families, communities, and churches. Our country is drowning in crippling debt and it is our fault, because we have shirked our responsibility and we have not demanded justice.
The only way back to a prosperous nation is by turning back to God and taking back the responsibilities we’ve given to the government. We have to be willing to be very uncomfortable, because shouldering responsibility for our bad behavior comes with consequences. However, there is no other path more worthy of our efforts. Let’s make our fallen soldiers proud of the America they died protecting.
Let’s Be Christians.
